PEWTER CASTING MADE EASY
Nick Gibb teaches students to create a one-of-a- kind piece from lead-free pewter. You will then use the new piece for earrings, a pin or a wonderful pendant. Topics covered include the design of your piece, mold carving, casting and antiquing techniques. Create a design for your mold and carving during the first class. KNOTTING
Using tweezers and a beading awl you will leam to knot between beads and space them so they appear to be floating. Using clamshells (not the crustacean) you will learn to secure the clasp on the knotted necklace or bracelet. One session-$20-2 hours. Materials included.
